from things that consume a great part of your life.
i.e. facebook sucks your time away from you like nothing else.
(I'm sorry I haven't posted in awhile and will hopefully begin to post frequently. Though those vBlogs never really took off from my first, so we'll see how well I stick with posting.)
So, I just wanted to bring up this subject known as: fb. You know it. I know it. You love it. I love it. This weekend that I am in Tallahassee I am giving up facebook. You're probably thinking, "Why would he do that?" Good question. I decided to do this because it was brought to my attention that I spend way too much time on facebook and because I saw that someone else was doing it (lame reason, I know). So you will not "see" me on facebook until Sunday or Monday. I just thought I'd comment on what consumes my time. I mean when was the last time I evaluated how much time I spend on the Internet? Um........I don't know.
Using the Internet isn't wrong for sure. But if I come to the point where I find myself wondering what to do with myself if I do not have facebook, that my friends is just sad. Seriously though, I mean it's just facebook. What has happened to me? I think to some degree I've become addicted to it because it allows me to live life through facebook, ya know? I know for me I get excited when I see notifications from comments on my statuses and wall posts. WOW. Ya, it's true.
So, why am I doing this? I need a break from the time-sucker: fb. My life should not revolve around status updates, quizzes, wall posts, and picture posting. Life is more than fb.
Just thought I'd throw that out there.
