Tonight my soccer team suffered a deadly blow by TFA Orlando. We began District's tonight and came out with a loss. Unfortunately it was a one-game elimination and tonight we lost 2-0.
When things come to an end, depending on the activity, event, etc., we do not necessarily no where to go from there. I was kind of in a zombie-mode, if you will, after the game. I mean I was not falling apart or totally out of it, but there was a realization that I'm done. After three seasons (well years) of soccer, I am done, for high school anyway. Looking back on the three years, they were good. I went from being a novice at soccer to being a slightly smarter novice :) and built friendships that otherwise probably would not have existed if it weren't for two goals and a round object known as a soccer ball. I just want to thank all those who were involved from the beginning that I started playing up to tonight, the last game I will play for my high school career (well the last one of the school season). I want to thank the guys on the team, through fun and hard times thanks for just being my teammates. Also, thank you Coach Lauretta for all the time that you invested in the team. Those are countless hours that will never be lost and could not be bought. I also want to thank Coach D, Coach Sherman, and Mr. Clean :) for all the time you put into the team.
While it is not "the end", it is the closing of soccer for the 08-09 year. I just want to wish the best for those who have yet to graduate and I hope next year is even better than this year!

I'm so sorry you guys lost. You sure seem to be having a good attitude about it though. Hey there is always soccer at the homes on saturday nights if you want to play. Also does this mean you'll be going to MK youth group a little more?
I'm sorry it's over. :( Sounds like you really enjoyed yourself, though. Just wait. More great times are bound to be around the corner. :)

I enjoyed the couple games I went to! and regret not coming to more!
